What airport should I fly into?
BWI (Baltimore Washington) is closest and most affordable. Other options in the region are Dulles and Reagan (both outside of DC).
Are children invited?
We understand that some of our friends and family will not be able to attend if they have to find childcare while they are away, so we have picked a venue that is kid friendly. However, space is limited (as with any wedding venue!), so we are still encouraging anyone with easy childcare options to go that route. We don’t think you will regret the chance to have a weekend away in Baltimore (see Things To Do for all the fun things our city has to offer).
Do I need to rent a car?
No! The venue and hotel block are walking distance from each other. You can take Uber/Lyft from the airport to the hotel for under $30. In addition, the Mt Vernon neighborhood is an easy walk/bike/scooter/Uber/Lyft ride from most Baltimore attractions.
What if I am driving to town and will have a car?
Hotel Indigo has a very affordable deck across the street that is $5/day on weekends (or per time you punch into the lot). The Engineers Club does NOT have parking, so either leave your car at Indigo or, if you aren’t at the hotel, use one of the following lots: Peabody Parking Garage at 600 St Paul Street; 810 N Charles Street Parking; Mt Vernon Parking Lot/Garage at 926 N Charles St; 520 N Charles St Parking Garage; 601 N Calvert St Garage; or Walters Art Museum Lot. Paid street parking is also an option but can be very hard to find on a weekend night in this part of town.
